Forex: EUR/USD ends week below 1.2400
The Euro managed to recover against the Dollar and erased previous losses ending the week at the same price level it finished last Friday. The pair failed to rise back above 1.2400 but ended barely below and moved further away from 1.2207 (weekly low).
On Friday the pair rose for the third consecutive session and is still on its way to the first monthly gain since November of 2009.
Against it European rivals, the Euro posted important losses. EUR/CHF tumbled for the second week in a row, reached fresh record lows and finished around 1.3550. The pair is accumulating a monthly decline so far of more than 1250 pips.
EUR/GBP fell on Friday but did not reached fresh 19-month lows as the Euro held above 0.8200 but posted the lowest weekly close since November of 2008.
